Abstract

· Farmer Terms of Trade (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

· NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

· Bengkulu Province's NTP in August 2023 was 147.15 or an increase of 2.38 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 2.21 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.17 percent.

· The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Bengkulu Province in August 2023 was 140.42 or an increase of 2.21 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
