Abstract

• Total exports of Bengkulu Province in July 2023 reached US$ 12.55 million. This export value decreased by 45.02 percent when compared to June 2023 which was recorded at US$ 22.82 million and decreased by 43.93 percent when compared to July 2022 which was recorded at US$ 22.38 million.

• The export value of Bengkulu Province in July 2023 through Baai Island Port reached US$ 9.09 million (72.41 percent), through Bengkulu Port reached US$ 2.24 million (17.84 percent), through Boom Baru Port ( South Sumatra) reached US$ 1.21 million (9.66 percent), through Tanjung Priok Port reached US$ 5.52 thousand (0.04 percent), and through Soekarno Hatta reached US$ 5.35 thousand (0.04 percent).

• From September 2021 to July 2023, there will be no imports of goods into Bengkulu Province. The highest import value in 2021 occurred in March 2021 which was recorded at US$ 0.44 million, followed by August 2021 with US$ 0.41 million.

• Bengkulu Province's trade balance in July 2023 had a surplus of US$ 12.55 million. Meanwhile, the trade balance in January - July 2023 experienced a surplus of US$ 156.80 million.
